Assassin's Creed Valhalla release date changes to November 10th

With the recent announcement from Microsoft stating that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch on November 10th, Ubisoft has decided to release Assassin's Creed Valhalla a week earlier on the same day that the new Xbox's release.

Initially slated to be released on November 17th, this date change makes Assassin's Creed Valhalla a launch title for the next-gen Xbox. The best part about this announcement is that it pertains to the other platforms the game will be released on as well. You will be able to play the game on PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and PC as well on this date if you do not plan on getting one of the new Xbox consoles. The PlayStation 5 date has not been announced yet.

Those who purchased the game for the Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the new console, thanks to the game being apart of the Microsoft Smart Delivery program. Those who have purchased the game on PlayStation 4 will also be eligible for a free upgrade to PlayStation 5.

Ubisoft claims that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will run 4K at 60FPS on the Xbox Series X with improved textures and loading times thanks to the SSD that will be available in the new console. There have not been any official reports on how the game will run on the Xbox Series S.
