Recently, because of the pandemic crisis, Capcom announced that the fourth title update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be delayed indefinitely. In a tweet on the official Monster Hunter Twitter account, the publisher confirmed that the title update would release in early July 2020.
The update was initially planned to release back in May, introducing Alatreon into Monster Hunter World. This update will add another monster and its coinciding weapons and armor, to the already impressive roster of monsters available to battle.
Since the release of the Iceborne expansion, Capcom has been releasing consistent updates for free. The roadmap previously announced only showed up to the fourth title update, so we are unsure if more updates are to come after this one, or if the next expansion will start to be in the works.
